Fashion and Interior Design can be a match made in heaven.
One of Carlos Garcia Interiors’ projects has been the backdrop for a beautiful photo shoot by fashion photographer Terry Whitaker.
Terry, who’s based in London, specialises in fashion and portrait photography. His fine art background informs his work, creating chic and aesthetically compelling photographs. He gives Fashion a context; humanises it.
The photo shoot took place in a Loft style apartment in the East End, a successful blend of concrete ceilings, antiques, modern furniture and luxurious soft furnishings.
Beautiful Chloe from Elite Models was the model for the day.
Her sumptuous lips turned luscious against the bespoke silk velvet pomegranate damask cushions. Her beautiful clothes accented by the latte alpaca covers of the Gregg Zanotta sofa and the pale moss and olive silk velvet hues of the bespoke scatter cushions. Jay Turnbull was responsible for the perfect make up and wonderfully styled by Victoria Wright.
A pair of stunning bespoke De Gournay chinoiserie panels was the lush backdrop of yet another marvellous shot. The panels, with their fleshy Chinese pink peonies and vivid purple berries are an accurate hand painted reproduction of the chinoiserie room at Temple Newsam, a gift from the Prince of Wales (later George IV) to her mistress Isabella, Marchioness of Hertford.
Chloe looks simply ravishing.
A no doubt remarkably successful day for both fashion and interior design.
